Golden Goose Recruitment is seeking an experienced Host/Hostess for luxury barges operating across the waterways of Europe.

A long-standing client is looking for someone to join their team for the upcoming season (April to November) or for short periods to help cover holidays at varied points of the season.

The ideal candidate will have experience in luxury chalets, villas, or yachts, and a positive, can-do attitude to ensure guests enjoy a memorable experience while travelling through picturesque towns and villages.

You will be part of a small team, with responsibilities including guest service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness on the barge, and supporting other crew members as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-end guest service
• Maintaining immaculate onboard standards
• Supporting the wider crew as required
• Enhancing the guest experience through attention to detail

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in luxury hospitality (chalets, villas, or yachts)
• Proactive, adaptable, and service-focused
• Multilingual skills advantageous
• Additional talents such as mixology, table design, or floral arrangement highly desirable

The role includes a French CDD contract (or invoice for freelance), private cabin, meals, two weeks' holiday, and a competitive seasonal salary
